I Believed Ancient Alien Theories—Until God Revealed the Truth

As a teenager, I strongly rejected Christianity and viewed religion as a collection of false beliefs. I often mocked faith and believed that powerful groups were hiding the truth from ordinary people. My curiosity about alternative ideas eventually led me deep into internet conspiracy theories, ancient alien theories and New Age teachings. I became convinced that advanced beings from other worlds had influenced human history. Searching for spiritual experiences, I experimented with psychedelic drugs, hoping they would help me discover a deeper reality. But instead of finding answers, I became increasingly confused and empty. Everything began to change when I was 18 and came across a Christian YouTube video questioning the idea that the Illuminati had written the Bible. I expected the usual religious arguments, but the presenter used facts and reasoning that challenged many of my assumptions. Another video, focused on debunking ancient alien theories, made me question the worldview I had built. For the first time, I decided to seriously investigate Christianity. I began reading the Bible, studying its history and listening to Christian apologetics. The more I learned about Scripture and Jesus Christ, the more I realized that many of my previous beliefs were based on assumptions rather than solid evidence. My search for truth eventually brought me face-to-face with the message of the Gospel. I came to believe that Jesus was not simply a teacher but the Son of God who died for humanity’s sins. Shortly after turning 19, I prayed for forgiveness and committed my life to Christ. Years later, my perspective has completely changed. The person who once mocked Christianity and searched for answers in conspiracy theories now finds purpose and hope in following Jesus. What began as a search for hidden truths ultimately led me to faith in Christ.
